Yoga, is a physical activity that educates the body and the mind. An ancient Indian form of exercise that was introduced to Western countries in the late 19th century.

Sara dal Corso teaches Vinyasa Yoga at Villa Helena.

Sara has a PhD in History of Dance and Theatre from the University of Bolonha and works as a bailarina, choreographer, dance teacher and yoga instructor. She began her training in classic dance and developed her studies in contemporary dance and Yoga. Sara learnt from various international teachers while travelling throughout Europe. Since 2006 she has worked as a professional contemporary ballerina for various years, teaching and performing. Her curiosity for knowing more on the relationship between mind and body kept growing and her Yoga practice (inspired in Anusara Yoga) became fundamental.

In 2013, Sara moved to Portugal and worked with several yoga instructors, in 2016 she completed her studies as a Yoga Professor.

Sara’s Yoga classes are dynamic and based on principles of anatomic alignment, where breathing guides and enriches each posture as a form of meditation, with each movement. Progressive asanas, alignment, breathing, consciousness and clarity are fundamental elements to put to use corporal intelligence with benefits for each practitioner. Regular practice brings physical and mental benefits to every yogin!
